Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages are read. It records the page you are on, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you are using.
It does not record your name, your address or anything you type, and the data is kept for fourteen months.
If you would rather not be counted, any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics will stop it.
Affiliate links
Some links on the planning pages — getting here, getting around, booking ahead and day trips — are affiliate links. If you book something through one of them, this site may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.
Those links are marked on the page, above the first link, and no sight page carries one. Nothing is recommended because it pays.
Following such a link takes you to the partner's own site, which sets its own cookies and has its own privacy policy.
Fonts and hosting
The typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google when a page loads.
The site itself is a set of static files on a server in the United States. There are no accounts, no logins and no comment forms, so there is nothing for you to sign up to and nothing to delete.

Pages on this site also load a script from Travelpayouts (tpembars.com), called Drive, which can add affiliate links, travel recommendations and previews to the page. It runs in your browser, and Travelpayouts and the travel services it links to may set their own cookies. Following one of these links does not identify you to this site; the service you land on has its own privacy policy. A content blocker stops the script, and the site still works.
Access Genoa does not sell, book or reserve anything and handles no payments. Any booking you make is between you and the travel company, under its own terms, and this site is not a party to it.
